Madam Shee Yeat May of Bukit Damansara was robbed of her handbag containing certain documents and cash while she was on her way to take her car parked at a roadside near Eastern Garden, about 200 meters from the entrance of the camp in Jalan Kantonmen, 4th miles, Jalan Ipoh, K.L. at about 3.55 p.m. Sunday on 19-04-2009.
Her head was injured believed to be hit with a helmet by one of the two youths who were on the motorcycle and she fell down on the road with the bloodshed that can be easily seen at the scene, with a stone’s throw from Ho Association. With the help of friends, she was admitted to a hospital immediately.
The places in the area are now considered unsafe as crimes had been frequently committed even before this incident.
Police are expected to be on the alert against crimes which are frequently committed.
The common sense here is that you hear before you see. As seeing is believing, the next thing you act before you see the result.

A case where Elizabeth Wong punishes herself quickly
The first time I have come across that a victim has to quit her office, subject to her final dicision after her 'deserved leave'.
If I refer to 'Lingam's tape case', I should say that Elizabeth Wong is 'the queen of her house' and can do what she wishes.
It is strange and very unusual that a victim should be punished by herself quickly simply because of her so-called xx pictures exposed to the public.
Things should not be so simple as from what we saw and heard.
Those took the pictures and exposed them publicly are deemed to be the unconvicted culprit pending trial and should be severely punished under our law.
The offer to quit her posts reflects that she did things prematurely and considered as 'jump the gun' before a real culprit is to be punished.
A horse is normally put before the cart, but in this case the horse is put behind the cart. it is absurd and never mind let us wait and see...

'See the light until all of a sudden'
It is generally believed that N Gobalakrishnan, the parliamentarian, was denied of his entry into Sarawak without notice being given prior to his arrival, otherwise he would not have reached there.
I can still recall that other politicians were denied entry into Sabah during 70' yr, when the state was ruled by Berjaya Datuk Harris, the chief minister then.
They are DAP leaders Lim Kit Siang and Lee Lam Thye. Lee was in DAP then.
Lim was served with a wheelchair and carried into the plane to fly back peninsula as he insisted it was his right to enter the state and refused to go back.
All the above 3 were denied entry into east Malaysia that became part of Malaysia on 16th Sept.1963.
I would rather believe that they all did not know they were denied the right to enter until they reached their destinations,K.K.and Kuching, and only knew what happened all of a sudden, otherwise they would not have reached there.
In the other event, Loot Ting Yee, a 80 years old popular Chinese veteran educationist was recently alleged by a Chinese reporter in her blogosphere to have sexual harassment against him, has given up all his efforts and activities in respect of his just cause of the Chinese education.
I would rather believe that Loot, whom I have known since long ago, never thought that the allegation, disseminated in blog against him, though with sudden disapearance, has eventually resulted him from stopping his efforts towards the Chinese education for the past half century.

A faulty traffic light or no traffic light endangers human life
Actions have to be taken before it comes to the worst,if we want to achieve the so-called 'Malaysia Boleh'.
Traffic light that constitutes danger to motorists should be replanned and changed immediately in order to avoid road accident.
One instance can be found at the junction near Jalan Emas,SD 5/1,Industrial area of Sri Damansara,52200 Petaling Jaya.
The traffic light allows simultaneously vehicles from differant directions,i.e. from Persiaran Industri and from Desa Puri Aman to proceed to Petaling Jaya or Sungei Buloh, posing danger of collision.
Not far away, another junction leading to Tago industrial area in KIP poses a great danger,as there is no traffic light to allow vehicles from Tago to turn right in order to proceed to Jalan Sg.Buloh-Kepong. The increase of vehicles and the present traffic situation there, warrant the authorities concerned to set up traffic light in order to avoid collision.

The oppositon gives only conditional backing...
If Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Bill is to get what is envisaged by the opposition coalition.....
Both 'wine and bottle' have to be replaced.
In order to get 'new wine in new bottle', "you must have 2/3 majority in parliament, otherwise it is 'old wine in new bottle'".
The constitution is clear as to the issue of prosecution power.
Presently, the ruling BN government has no such power in order to create a situation of 'new wine in new bottle'.
In the absence of such power, the ruling government has to get support from opposition coalition.
The opposition has expressed its conditional backing,so far.

Landslide topic:Whether ‘wanting to have good views’ is a fault ?
Referring to the landslides in Ulu Klang and according to Lim Kit Siang who stated in his blog that the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi blamed developers and buyers when he lamented:
“Malaysians never want to learn from past experiences. They want good views while developers only seek to profit; but no one takes safety and soil stability into consideration”.
I do not think it is people‘s fault to look for good views.
I also do not think it is the sole responsibility of ordinary people to take safety and soil stability into consideration.
We have experts or relevant authorities to determine the safety and stability before ordinary people can make their choice.

What you say is the constitutionally guaranteed rights
The constitutionally guaranteed rights as stated in our Federal constitution have to be respected by all in order to maintain the harmony, stability and unity of the nation which is to achieve the Vision 2020.
To question the existence of schools which adopt their mother tongue is tantamount to question the wisdom of our Constitution.
Experts or any professor might have forgotten our constitutionally guaranteed rights before 'making their freedom of speech'.
Citizens should safeguard our Constitution at all time.
Attached herewith a brief comment appeared on a e-newspaper in repect of the street-signboard,being a chitchat topic in commonly seen coffee-shop.
"The only state(Penang)government in our history that is brave enough to exercise its constitutional rights.
The fact is that there was never a state government dared to exercise such right does not mean that the present state government has no such constitutional rights.
The actions taken by the present state government should be commended and I should have no hesitation to hail its gut to do such a right thing." (dated:13 Nov 2008 Kwong Wah e-newspaper)
