The golden rule has a sudden change

Most youngsters are fond of keeping  pet birds while the old generation seems to oppose their act, simply because of the saying that keeping pet birds can cause ones savings exhausted.

That is why the elders always remind the youngsters to be realistic and advise them to rear cows or oxen or pigs in order to increase their productivity.

Because of the saying and the wisdom that are deeply rooted in the minds of the youngsters who nowadays prefer to give up keeping pet birds and set all the pet birds in hand free to follow the tracks of the elders. Thus the youngsters made a fast choice, redirecting themselves to rear cows or oxen or pigs.

There were instances that this change  had surprisedly taken effect  and those grown-up youngsters who followed the advice of the elders had become richer and richer.

The elders advice has been all along accepted as a golden rule.

A controversial issue has arosed in Malaysian parliament recently that a livestock project, with a loan of RM250 millions (>US$83 mil.), for the purpose of supplying beef for the nation, part of which (about RM13 mil.)has been redirected into buying condominium. An independent parliamentary audit body is said to be investigating the matter.

It is extremely rare case that the livestock project has now become a project that can not bring benefit to the people and the nation.

Many people kept on asking me why such the golden rule 'had lost its strength'?

It seems that the golden rule has a sudden change because of the above livestock project.
