The golden rule has a sudden change

Most youngsters are fond of keeping  pet birds while the old generation seems to oppose their act, simply because of the saying that keeping pet birds can cause ones savings exhausted.

That is why the elders always remind the youngsters to be realistic and advise them to rear cows or oxen or pigs in order to increase their productivity.

Because of the saying and the wisdom that are deeply rooted in the minds of the youngsters who nowadays prefer to give up keeping pet birds and set all the pet birds in hand free to follow the tracks of the elders. Thus the youngsters made a fast choice, redirecting themselves to rear cows or oxen or pigs.

There were instances that this change  had surprisedly taken effect  and those grown-up youngsters who followed the advice of the elders had become richer and richer.

The elders advice has been all along accepted as a golden rule.

A controversial issue has arosed in Malaysian parliament recently that a livestock project, with a loan of RM250 millions (>US$83 mil.), for the purpose of supplying beef for the nation, part of which (about RM13 mil.)has been redirected into buying condominium. An independent parliamentary audit body is said to be investigating the matter.

It is extremely rare case that the livestock project has now become a project that can not bring benefit to the people and the nation.

Many people kept on asking me why such the golden rule 'had lost its strength'?

It seems that the golden rule has a sudden change because of the above livestock project.

The fate of human being differs each others

The fate of human being differs each others depending on where they are born and where they live, according to the views held by most of the Malaysian Chinese.

In China,a Chinese was able to buy 7 kgs of gold recently at time the market price rises to US$1,800.00 per ounce. He/she had to withdraw about equivalent to RM1.3 mil.(Malaysian money)to buy the gold to avoid money being depreciated.

It is not unusual for people, being able to buy such quantity of gold in the ordinary market despite of the low percentage if compared to the total population.

In Pudu,an area in Kuala Lumpur, the poors can only buy a kg. of rice on credit from grocery, while in other places in north eastern Africa where children are in urgent need of food, waiting others to subsidise the food for their survival,as they are in a worst state where foods are badly needed. For them 'hunger is the best sauce'.

A common social phenomenon can also be found at shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur where needy elders sitting on the bench looking around the younger passersby and seem to be pondering their past. Most of these elders are from the nearby areas, hoping to pass their time in a more comfortable environment than where they stay.

Some may say every man is the architect of his own fortune.

‘Gambling is not encouraged’

The Malaysian legal gamblers are pleased to hear that after the take-over of the damacai ,a licensed operator to run the 3 and 4 digits forecast gaming business, the Chinese schools in the country can be subsidized in terms of fund.

The Malaysian Chinese community ,however, is cautious that the subsidy the Chinese schools that are expected to get, will not jeopardize the allocations the schools have received from the government as they consider they are being looked after by the government under the present policy.

Several Malaysian top entrepreneurs have carried out this effort to ensure its success.

Leaders of the Malaysian Chinese and politicians have expressed and stressed that the efforts that are being carried out, do not mean that they are encouraging the people to take part in gambling.

The will to have ones lover never ends

The will to have ones lover never ends despite of ones 83 old age.

This can be seen at a Harbin,in northern China, where a gathering was held yesterday in conjunction with the 7th day of the 7th month of the Lunar, which according to the Legend Chinese, a cowherd and a weaver maid meet in heaven.

Similarly, the will to struggle for ones political cause will never end despite of ones old age.

In Malaysia, despite of the old age among the politicians, they possess the will to struggle for their political cause.

There was a lesson in the primary school textbook where there was 'a foolish old man removed the mountains', indicating that worries of others over the old man being unable to remove the mountains, was not necessary and baseless, because of his successors being his sons or his grandsons, will continue for his works.

This means, that the will he possess will succeed and realize eventually.

The president of Malaysian Chinese Association Mr.Chua's worries over the old age of certain leaders of the Opposition Front, seem to have been unnecessary.

The ATM,with no human touch

A customer failed to buy his mobile prepaid coupon (012,013 or 016 whatever it is)in a convenience shop in Kuala Lumpur as he was told by a young lady, with a goodlook, that the manager of the shop was busy.

The lady came to know her manager was busy after she had a watch at the CCTV installed in the shop.

The custmer asked her whether the shop had the prepaid coupon for sale, she replied that she had.

The customer was happy that he could get the coupon at the shop.

But to his disappointment, the lady took no steps to sell the coupon.

The customer realized that they had the coupon to sell, but because of lack of manpower or the lady was lazy to take steps to dispose the coupon to the customer.

Having thought that he had no point to figure out furhter,he left the shop quietly.

He came to the conclusion: the ways, the young lady with the goodlook, acted no difference with the ATM, nowadays necessity, but with no human touch.

'the criterion' to elect the next government

The 310,000 votes in the coming 13th general election is regarded as 'critical'.

This is because BN,the ruling coalition, had the majority in the last general election and it has come into power till now.

The oppositon must have,at least, this majority, before they can think to reach Putrajaya to rule the country.

The votes BN obtained in the 2008's 12th general election dropped 13.6%,compared to the 2004 general election. This means that BN can not afford to lose the votes if taking all the factors of the present situation into account.
The most important factor is the livelihood of the poors who regard prices of their daily and essential items as 'the criterion' to elect the next government.

No indication is shown in the roll 'through net search'

Despite of the registration having been done for the change of constituency ,no confirmation is shown in the electoral roll.

This was done through the agent of SPR, the Election Commission of Malaysia, several months ago.

What is wrong I do not know. I can only know that my present address stated indentity card was produced to the agent of SPR,hoping to get my change done.
No signature was required.

Later,I came to know that the change of constituency can also be done in post-office.

But in addition to the production of the IC to show the present address, the staff of post-office has to fill up specified form and having done it, the one who asks for the change of the constituency has to sign on the so called 'Borang A'.

It is unusual for the Commission to have diferent ways of changing the constutuency.
But it is not the point.

What is important is that having done it for several months no indication is shown in the roll 'through net search'.
